Le Corbusier - Le Modular

Measurement | Human | Golden Ratio

Each of the natural elements consists of measurement. The measurement is gifted by the god. The humane found out the measurement from natural elements are golden ratio, which it comes to perfection. It then transfers to the object and the structure, giving the design a sense of natural and human-related. The object which has natural measurement has almost reached the perfection itself. Nothing is without measurement.

Each of the measurement can produce an important element, also it can be fabricated into modular components. These components have the same language to nature which they follow the precise measurement and have been experimented on user experience. Human is a perfect modular for reference to each of the object in order to achieve the ultimate quality of design.

Le Modular is a good reference for the studio project, it is almost like the original version of Neufert or Metric Handbooks. The modular system teaches us the ergonomics and anthropometry of an object and space which are similar to the manuscript has written about all human, nature, and object are inter-related. The very basic of space planning is to investigate the human functions and flows in space.
